Anna Iurkus

Born in Moscow.

In 2013 graduated with honours from the Ippolitov-Ivanov Music College as pianist (class of Oksana Korokhova). In 2019 — from the Popov Academy of Choral Arts as actor of musical theatre (class of Valentin Chaplin).

In 2019-2022 was a soloist at the Yurlov Russian State Academic Choir.

In 2021 participated in the recording of the opera Le cinesi by C.W. Gluck (the part of Tangia) for Trickster Theatre (music director and conductor of the project – Peter Aidu), performed the part of L’enfant/ The Child in L'enfant et les sortilèges by M. Ravel on the stage of the Children’s Musical Theatre of Young Actor (conductor Dmitry Korchak, director of production Ekaterina Vasileva).

She also has the following parts in her repertoire: Polina (The Queen of Spades), Olga (Eugene Onegin) and The Requiem by W.A. Mozart.

In September 2022 was accepted into the Young Artists Opera Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Debuted on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in the part of Page/ Pages (Lohengrin).
