Yulia Stepanova

Born in Orenburg. In 2009 graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (class of Lyudmila Safronova). Was accepted to the ballet troupe of the Mariinsky Theatre. In 2014 was a soloist of the ballet troupe of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre. Since 2015 has been in the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre. At the beginning of the 2016/ 17 season she was promoted to the principal dancer.
Rehearsed with Lyudmila Semenyaka and is currently working under the supervision of Marina Kondratyeva.
