Alexei Votyakov

Graduated from the department of Design of the Magnitogorsk University in 1998, and completed his postgraduate degree in Scenography and Costume in 2003. As designer he worked on performances: Home, Last Summer in Chulimsk (Moscow Art Theatre), The Devil, Wife, The Twelfth Night, The Toupée Artist (Oleg Tabakov Theatre), An Envy Man (Russian Academic Youth Theatre), Pretty Girl (Moscow Sovremennik Theatre), The Life and Extraordinary Adventures of Oliver Twist (Children's musical theatre to them. N. Sats), Talk after the Funeral (Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya).

He has collaborated with many Russian theatres, including the Mariinsky Theatre, Theatre on the Fontanka (St. Petersburg), the Academic Drama Theatre, the Fifth Theatre (Omsk), the Ekaterinburg Children’s Theater, the Kamala Theater (Kazan), as well as theatres in Ufa, Voronezh, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Perm, Samara, Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, Seoul, etc.
