Having graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema in 1983, Olga Khenkina joined the Moscow branch of the Union of Composers of Russia, where she worked for the section of musical theatre. In 2000–18 she headed the Department of Repertory and Actors of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre.
She produced the performances 19.14, Rebels and 19.17. The Bright Way by Alexander Molochnikov for the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, as well as Bulba. The Fiest for the Drama Theatre on Malaya Bronnaya.
