Oleg Tsybulko

Born in Glodeni (Republic of Moldova) Oleg Tsybulko graduated from the Ştefan Neaga Music College as a pianist, in 2004, and from the Chișinău Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (Professor Vera Slyusarevskaya’s class) whith a master’s degree in opera singing.

In 2011 he became a member of the Bolshoi Theater Young Artist Programme. In November 2011 he gave his debut performance in the role of Sarastro (Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte). 

From 2013-2016, he was a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company. In 2013 he made a successful role debut as Count Rodolfo in new production of Bellini’s La Sonnambula. Then he took part in premiere performances of Don Carlo (as Monk) and Billy Budd (as Lieutenant Ratcliffe).

In 2015 Oleg Tsybulko made his european debut at the Angers & Nantes Opera as Prince Gremin (Eugene Onegin). He apeared in productions of Deutsche Oper Berlin, Zurich Oper, Teatr Wielki in Warsaw, Montreal Opera, Opera de Nice. Participated in the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Buxton International Festival, the Yuri Bashmet Winter Festival of Arts in Sochi, Grand Festival of the Russian National Orchestra in Moscow, ”December Nights of Sviatoslav Richter” International Music Festival among others.
