Sergei Murzaev

Graduated from the Chelyabinsk Music College (Gavrilova’s class) and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Skunchenko’s class). In 1991 he became the trainee, in 1992- 2007 – a soloist with the Bolshoi Opera Company. His repertoire there includes more than twenty roles.

Since 2000 Sergei Murzaev has been a guest soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre. The singer also regularly appeared on the stages of the Opéra national de Paris, Teatro alla Scala, Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Wiener Staatsoper, Semperoper Dresden to name but a few.

In 2017 he joined the Novaya Opera Company as a soloist.
