Mikaberidze
Khatuna Mikaberidze studied at the Tiflis Conservatory. She began her professional career as a soloist with the Batumi Opera and with the Tiflis Opera Georgia.
She made her German debut in 2001 as Azucena (Il Trovatore) at the Theatre Dortmund. She was a soloist at Theatre Meiningen. From 2003 to 2006 Khatuna was in the ensemble of Linz State Theatre. From 2006 she was a member of Hannover State Opera. She sang in Luigi Nono’s Intoleranza 1960 at the Hannover State Opera which won the Faust Award for Best New Opera Production 2011.
She performed in such theatres as Hamburg State Opera, Norwegian National Opera, Volksoper in Vienna, Frankfurt Opera, Salzburg State Theatre, theatres in Kassel, Basel, Wiesbaden.
