Lada Merkulieva

Born in the Chelyabinsk region. In 2020 graduated from the Academic Musical College under the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of Maria Arapova).

She is currently a student at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of Hibla Gerzmava).

Since June 2022 has been a soloist of the Boris Pokrovsky Chamber Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. Debuted in the part of The Queen of the Night in the opera Die Zauberflöte by W. A. Mozart.

Her concert repertoire consists of the vocal cycle From Jewish Folk Poetry by D. Shostakovich, chamber pieces by Russian and foreign composers.

Participated in musical festivals and educational programmes, such as the International Music Festival “Shkin Opera” (Kolomna, 2018), the 2nd Ildar Abdrazakhov International Music Festival (Moscow, 2019), the 13th Yuri Bashmet Winter International Festival of Arts “Diaghilev+” (Sochi, 2020), the International Diaghilev Festival "Diaghilev+" under the leadership of Teodor Currentzis (Perm, 2021). Regularly takes part in the creative projects of the Elena Obraztsova Foundation.

In 2022 performed the part of The Queen of the Night in the opera Die Zauberflöte by W. A. Mozart (directed by Ilya Ilyin) on the stage of the Moscow Music Theatre Helicon Opera headed by Dmitry Bertman.
