Ilya Kutyukhin

Born in Pyatigorsk, Ilya Kutyukhin graduated from the State Gnessin Music College (academic vocal department, Olga Dementieva’s class), 2008. In 2014 he completed his musical studies at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (Alexander Naumenko’s class). While a student he performed at the Academy Opera Studio.

In 2014-17 he was a member of the Bolshoi Theatre Young Artist Opera Programme. In 2017 he made his stage debut as Morales (Carmen).

He was a member of the Salzburg Festival Young Singers Project.

He has sung leading roles in productions of Opéra national de Paris, Vilnius City Opera, Glyndebourne Touring Opera, Polish National Opera, Teatro Regio in Turin, has taken part in Bregenz Opera Festival and others.
