Goderdzi Janelidze

Born in Batumi (Georgia), Goderdzi Janelidze studied choral conducting at the Paliashvili State Musical College in Batumi (2000-04). In 2015, he completed his vocal studies at the Saradjishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire (teacher Eldar Getsadze).

In 2015-16, he was a member of the Young Artists Opera Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre. In 2017-18, he was soloist with the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company.

Performed at Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Opéra national de Paris, Gran Teatro del Liceu, Teatro Real Madrid, Vlaanderen Opera, New National Theatre Tokyo, Teatro Colòn, Canadian Opera Company, Vancouver Opera and others. Participated in music festivals, such as Wexford Festival Opera, Bregenzer Festspiele, Al Bustan Festival (Lebanon).
