Darya Zykova

Born in Moscow. She sang in the Bolshoi Theatre’s Children’s Chorus.

In 2005, she completed her studies at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire (Irina Maslennikova’s class). In 2009 she completed her postgraduate studies at the Conservatoire.

She made her Bolshoi Theatre debut in 2008 as Papagena (Die Zauberfloete).

She has appeared in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Moldova, USA, Japan, South Korea.

Since 2008 she collaborates with Moscow State Philharmonic Society.

She has participated in the Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival, Opera Apriori International Festival, international festivals Ars Longa, Primavera classica, Spasskaya Tower, Summertime, Rakhlin Seasons ecc.

Collaborates with leading Russian orchestras: Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Moscow City Symphony — Russian Philharmonic, Osipov State Russian Folk Orchestra, Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra.

She has collaborated with such conductors as Vladimir Fedoseyev, Dmitri Jurowski, Fabio Mastrangelo, Vassily Sinaisky, Christopher Moulds, Laurent Campellone, Christoph-Mathias Mueller, Johannes Wildner, Marius Stravinsky, Pavel Sorokin ecc.
