Ayvazyan
Born in Yerevan (Armenia). In 2011 he graduated from the Yerevan State Komitas Conservatoire.
Lead soloist with the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia.
Since 2013 he has been a guest soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre.
Since his 2010 stage debut, Hovhannes Ayvazyan has frequently performed at various Opera Houses and Concert Halls including: Opera Belcanto of South Simcoe in Toronto (Opera Belcanto of York), Palm Beach Opera, Opera Frankfurt, Tatar State Opera in Kazan, Musikverein Vienna, Big Hall of the Moscow State Conservatoire, Mariinsky Concert Hall, Novaya Opera, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago.
In 2017 debuted Arena di Verona as Radames. In October 2018 he had another triumphant debut as Andrea Chenier at Teatro Massimo Bellini, Catania. In 2019 he made his stage debut as Don Alvaro (La forza del destino) at the Opera Frankfurt.
In 2013, Hovhannes Ayvazyan made his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre as Cavaradossi (Tosca).
