Vladimir Agronsky

In 1968 graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory (class of Boris Tevlin).

Since 1971 has been a conductor, in 2009-16 was Chief Conductor of the Boris Pokrovsky Chamber Musical Theatre. Since 2018 has been a conductor of the Pokrovsky Chamber Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre.

At the Chamber Theatre he staged the following productions: Not Love Alone by R. Shchedrin, Much Ado About Hearts by T. Khrennikov, The Miser by V. Pashkevich, Poor Folks by G. Sedelnikov, La cambiale di matrimonio and La scala di seta by G. Rossini, Die Zwillingsbrüder by F. Schubert, Granddad Laughs by A. Tchaikovsky, The Red-Haired Liar and the Soldier by V. Ganelin, Let's Make an Opera! by B. Britten, Swan Song and Diary of a Madman by V. Kobekin, The Balaganchik and The Stranger by N. Bogoslovsky, Count Cagliostro and Expectation by M. Tariverdiev, Direttore d'orchestra by D. Cimarosa, The Idiot by M. Weinberg, Bastien und Bastienne by W. A. Mozart, L'incoronazione di Poppea by C. Monteverdi, Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev for Children (musical tales and songs by Sergei Prokofiev), I quatro rusteghi by E. Wolf-Ferrari and many more.

He is a professor at the department of Acting and Directing in Musical Theatre at the Russian Institute of Theatre Art — GITIS.
