ABBYY’s intellectual technologies and over 7,800 project participants from 60 countries helped to extract, digitize and organize data based on 48,000 posters, 120,000 brochures and 100,000 photos of theatre museum collection, which has been accumulated during 200 years. Valuable data of over 28,000 operas, 18,000 ballets and 5,000 concerts, including Feodor Chaliapin, Leonid Sobinov, Maya Plisetskya and other brightest stars who ever performed on the Bolshoi’s stage, are now placed in one electronic database. After due diligence, digitized historical documents are published in a special search section online archive.bolshoi.ru.
