Ulyana Biryukova

Born in Moscow. In 2016, she graduated from the Moscow Provincial College of Arts in vocal art (class of Marina Gromova), in 2020 — from the faculty of music theatre at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts — GITIS (group of Alexander Barmak).

In 2019, she debuted on the Boris Pokrovsky Chamber Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre with the title role in the premiere series of the productions of La Périchole by J. Offenbach.

In 2019-22, she was an artist of the Young Artists Opera Programme at the Bolshoi Theatre, since 2022 — a guest soloist, since October 2023 — a soloist of the Boris Pokrovsky Chamber Stage.

In 2019, she participated in the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro (Italy) where she performed the part of Maddalena in the series of productions of ll viaggio a Reims by G. Rossini.

In 2021, she performed at master classes of the Ildar Abdrazakov Foundation for Young Artists and participated in concerts in various cities of Russia, including the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.

In 2022/23 season, she performed the part of Elena in the cantata Faust and Elena by L. Bulange on the stage of the Zaryadye Concert Hall, took part in performances of the Requiem by V. A. Mozart at the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic, Stabat Mater by G. Pergolesi at the Kaliningrad Cathedral during the touring of the Bolshoi Theatre artists.

Within the joint project by Golden Mask Theatre Festival and Vladimir Potanin Foundation she took part in the theatrical production of the vocal cycle The Book of the Hanging Gardens by A. Schoenberg by performing songs (Collector Gallery, Moscow).
