Konstantin Shushakov

Was born in 1984 in Udmurtia. In 2002 he entered the Izhevsk Musical College, vocal department. From 2004 to 2009 he was a student of The Russian Academy of Theatre Arts in Moscow (course by Georgy Ansimov, vocal class by Yuri Udalov).

In 2009-11 Konstantin was a member of the Bolshoi Theatre Young Artists Opera Programme and made his stage debut as Schaunard in Puccini’s La Boheme.

In 2012 he took part in the Young Artist Program of the Washington National Opera.

In 2012-2019 – a soloist with the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company.

In 2019-2023 – a soloist with the Opernhaus Zürich.
