Julia Muzychenko

Born in Saint Petersburg. In 2018 graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory (Tamara Novichenko’s class).

In 2015, she made her debut at the Mariinsky Theatre in the title role of Cinderella in The True Story of Cinderella, a modern opera by composer V. Tarnopolsky.

In 2018 she completed her training at the Houston Grand Opera's Young Artist Vocal Academy.

In 2018-19 was a member of the Bolshoi Theatre Young Artists Opera Programme.

In 2019-21 was a Junges Ensemble member of the Dresden Semperoper, where her roles included Musetta (La Boheme), Olympia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Sandmännchen/ Taumännchen (Hänsel und Gretel), and Papagena (Die Zauberflöte).

In 2023 she earned her Masters degree in vocal performance from the Berlin Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler (Anna Samuil’s class).

Performed at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Frankfurt Opera, Opéra national du Rhin, Opéra national de Montpellier, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Opera de Tenerife and others. Participated in the Verdi Festival in Bussetto, Les Nuit Lyriques de Marmande Festival, Heidenheim Festival, Cartagena Festival in Colombia.

She was a featured soloist on the Advent Konzert in Dresden's Frauenkirche, took part in the Semper Opernball 2020, and in a gala concert celebrating Eva Marton’s birthday at the National Hungarian Opera. Made a concert tour of Korea.
